AR House of Representatives passes COLA bill

Senate Bill 952, sponsored by Senator Uvalde Lindsey, Chair of the Personnel Joint Budget committee, passed the House 90 to 0. Senate Bill 952 includes a two percent cost-of-living adjustment for state employees. The bill, along with other appropriations, will now go to Governor Beebe and the Department of Finance and Administration as part of the Revenue Stabilization Law process.

  1. Thank goodness. I just sent out an e-mail to our chapter that it passed. Now we have to work on getting back our merit increases. Thanks for all you do!!

  2. If you look up Senate Bill 952, It does have merit increases almost to the bottom of bill. it list 1.5% for Sat, 3% for above and 4.5% for exceeds.
