  1. It was a needed move, The insurance rate were way off for what they are. Also costing the state too much. I am a State employeee FYI. But hey remember Obamacare is suppose to be FREE and FIX all of this. 🙂 looks to me like someone is blaming the wrong person/people. We as state employees do need a change. We need to go to a more higher paying scale and remove alot of unskilled warm bodies. We need BETTER workers NOT MORE workers.

  2. A positive reason to work for the state has been benefits and leave. We all like our jobs but can make more in the private sector. I have had several offers and I say no because of the leave, benefits, and the ability to really help others. If that is changed I may have to re-evaluate that. It is easy to say Obamacare was suppose to help and it did lots of people but should we not contuine to keep our benefits that we work for because “something” was suppose to be better? We have not received raises and our workload increases but now we have to maybe loose benefits for our spouse? Unfair.
