Pay plan update

NEWS: We’ve turned in our report, thank you all so much for your comments and suggestions; this shows a lot of interest in the pay plan, which is good since it’s a big undertaking. A lot will be done in waves to correct all inequities. The bill will run next Tuesday, and we will keep you updated on progress as we know more. Thanks again, and don’t forget – Monday is a holiday so we will be closed. Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. People who have found inequities aren’t trying to kill this, right? It’s good for everyone regardless of whether or not a few people feel it wasn’t good enough for them.

  2. Thanks for all you do and YES, please keep us updated. There have been so many rumors spread around over what the bill says or doesn’t say. And even if not exactly what some were hoping for, at least can benefit some and give the chance of moving up without having to change jobs.

  3. Its horrible that some people are getting 17,000 while others, on the low end of the pay scale, are scraping by and getting a tiny raise, or no raise. There is no way to make that ok.

    • We too agree that anyone who has served the state for that long deserves better, and thankfully they are going to review this twice a year, not wait years and years like before. And, even the Gov said this is just the first step and there’s lots of work to be done. We are providing OPM/the Gov any info when they ask, help with research and send them the emails/comments we get to let your voice be heard.
